Art for Amnesty, Write for Rights: A Gallery Opening

Come join Mount Holyoke College Amnesty International for the opening of the human rights exhibit Art for Amnesty, in room 302 of the MHC Art Museum. Art for Amnesty will feature artwork by MHC students about the negative impacts of American policy and the global struggle for human rights.

At the event, attendees will have the opportunity to write letters to world leaders as part of Amnesty’s Write for Rights campaign, which works to stop human rights abuses both domestic and abroad.
Refreshments will be served.

[Art for Amnesty will be on display in Art 302 from December 8th until December 14th.]

The Mount Holyoke Symphony Orchestra is Mount Holyoke College's principal undergraduate classical music instrumental ensemble. The group's members reflect the diversity of the college's community, with musicians from the five colleges and the Pioneer Valley, in addition to students, faculty and staff from Mount Holyoke College. The students who perform in the Orchestra represent all majors and minors. They are drawn by the collective desire to be an active participant in creating great beauty in the realm of sound.
