Easthampton’s Millside Park will be home to Millpond.Live, a new outdoor concert series, starting on Sunday, Aug. 21.
Millpond.Live will bring five weekends of live music, food trucks, craft beverages, art exhibitions, activities and performances to the park. Each concert is free to the public and open to all ages.
Each week is themed and grouped by similarities in genre, providing a variety of artists and bands performing on each date:
- Aug. 21 – Brewgrass Jamboree: American Roots. Bluegrass and Folk
- Aug. 27 – Rasta Da Voodoo: New Orleans Folk, Reggae, Rhythm & Blues and Traditional Jazz
- Sept. 3 – Poets & Balladeers: Folk, Jazz, Singer Songwriter
- Sept. 10 – New City Soul: Funk, Rhythm & Blues and Soul
- Sept. 17 – Deep River Harmony: American Roots, Folk, Gospel and Sacred Harp
