CHICOPEE – The Chicopee Cultural Council is currently accepting grant applications from schools, organizations and individuals who have an idea for an art, music or cultural program that would benefit the community.
This year the Chicopee Cultural Council received $33,400 in grant funding. The money is provided through the Massachusetts Cultural Council, which supports cultural councils for all communities in the state.

The proposals for community-oriented arts, humanities, and science programs are due Oct. 17 and the projects must take place in the 2017 calendar year. Any applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
All applications must be submitted online for the first time this year. Applications and instructions are available on the Massachusetts Cultural Council website at www.mass-culture.org
