Earth Matters: Essays on the Nature of the Pioneer Valley, is published by Levellers Press. This book is a collection of the first three and a half years of the Hitchcock Center’s ”Earth Matters” column that appears in the Daily Hampshire Gazette. In it, 34 authors have contributed over 90 columns about local flora and fauna, geology, waterfalls, agriculture, even great places for a nap. Several of our authors will be on hand to read from the book and sign copies. Books will be available for purchase at the event.
